Thank you for reading and considering the following information about a very worthy cause. It involves one of America’s forgotten people, the Oglala Lakota Native Americans. They reside on Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota. On Oct 13, 2011, Diane Sawyer of ABC News did a special report on these indigenous people. They need help desperately!

Today there is a very viable and effective evangelistic mission working in this area that is making a positive difference to the Lakota Native Americans. It is “Youth Evangelism Strategies” (Y.E. S.) headed by Pastor Mike Brennon at Porcupine South Dakota.

As you read the attached News Letters from this mission, you will be given some information concerning the success of Y.E.S. as well as the challenges ahead. One of the greatest present needs of this work is a simple multi-purpose building. The vision for evangelism there will require this basic facility. We believe the lives of many Native American children will be improved and even forever changed because of the evangelistic activities made possible by this building. You will find detailed information about this project also attached.

Locally in Spencer Co., Kentucky, NAMB missionary David Hahn, who heads “Northern Lights Missions“, is spearheading a concerted effort to not only help fund, but to provide construction labor for this wonderful project. We can only be successful through the collective efforts of many.
